Kariktan: Brand Bible

Alright so this is our MGRAPH2 finals which is a brand bible relating to our developmental project. My DP is all about self-image and the empowerment of Filipino beauty and being comfortable in one’s own skin for the little girlies out there (because studies show that your perception and confidence on how you look is developed as a child, well tween to be more specific.)
“Jeez, another developmental project-related plate” I said because trust me, most of our plates were DP-related. Talk about sawa.
Yet there I was in the computer laboratory, haggard and all from rushing and arriving late for our make-up class. I literally had nothing done yet while my other classmates were on the process of revising their logos. I had a peg in mind already but hardly any output. I went back to my dorm determined to finish the first few pages of my brand bible. I finished the logo and revised it a few hours later and got really inspired by it. I was going for a quirky, not too girly, kiddy but could be a classic cartoon-type of vector and bam, it ended up like that. It reminded me a bit of Peanuts for some reason in which I was pretty happy about.
The rest kinda just followed. Some kind of pop art style with loud, popping colors. This project made me realize my love for bold colors, too. I hadn’t even realized my bias for bright colors until this. The inner kid in me is delighted.
